Original work and limited editions from four artists working in very different registers.

Beppe Giacobbe, born in Milan in 1953 and trained at the Brera Academy, has drawn for Corriere della Sera for decades and taught at IED Milan and ISIA Urbino for twenty-four years; his Fisionomie series - studies of faces, and in Back Portrait, the back of a head instead - is printed in small numbered editions on Hahnemühle cotton paper, each signed. Giulia Neri spent years working as a psychologist before deciding she preferred illustrating feelings to analysing them; she now works as a conceptual artist from a small village in the Italian Dolomites, and her prints carry that same interest in what a feeling actually looks like. Bridie Hall, a London decorative artist, builds objects around a Grand Tour she never took - her Greek Urn prints and portrait plaques of Byron, Dante and Tasso sit somewhere between souvenir and archive. And Varek's kitchen posters - Homard au Beurre d'Estragon, Sardines à la Provençale - blow vintage French recipe illustrations up to wall scale.

A psychologist-turned-illustrator, a fine-art printmaker for one of Italy's biggest newspapers, a Londoner working in imagined antiquity, and a French seafood recipe card: different starting points, all landing on the same idea, that a wall is worth taking seriously.
