Giulio Giannini

Giulio Giannini e Figlio has bound books in Florence since 1856, six generations on. Every marbled sheet is lifted by hand from a bath of floating colour, so no two are ever alike, and the same papers cover the workshop's notebooks, photo albums and guestbooks, many bound with Florentine leather. Block-printed sheets and cards come from its archive of regional Italian motifs. Exclusive to Australia.

Fratelli Bonvini

Fratelli Bonvini has been a stationery shop and printworks on Via Tagliamento in Milan since 1909, kept just as it was by the typographers who took it over in 2014. Its archive of type, ornament and printing blocks now supplies notebooks, greeting cards and pencils, with covers by Milan illustrators and by Cabaret Typographie, the letterpress collective in residence at the shop. Exclusive to Australia.
