Vistosi: Murano Glass Pendant

Vistosi has been making glass on Murano since 1945. Guglielmo Vistosi founded the company in the years immediately after the war, when the island was returning to itself - its furnaces, its families, its centuries-old argument with molten glass. In the decades that followed, the company became one of Murano's more distinctive voices: bold in colour, precise in form, unhurried in the way only a family business with a long horizon can afford to be.

This pendant carries that confidence directly. A fluted stem in lime green - a colour that makes no apologies - descends into a double-shade configuration: an outer dome in blue-grey, an inner diffuser in smoke. The layers are the point. Light passes through one shade, then another, arriving at the room below softly and warm. Brass fittings throughout.
