Pink lady candles

Rosanna Philpott founded Pygmalion in London with an architect's eye and a host's instincts. The result is a dinner candle that takes colour seriously - hand-poured in plant-based wax with natural dyes, in combinations bold enough to hold their own on any table. Named for the Greek myth in which a sculptor falls in love with his creation, Pygmalion makes objects designed to be looked at as much as used.

Keep the candles in their packaging until you transfer them to their holders to keep them dust-free and avoid breakages. Handle with care and do not drop them. If the coloured sections become loose they can rattle slightly, but will still burn safely and beautifully.

Burn your candle in a well-ventilated room away from any draughts, fans or air-con units. This will help the candles be their best non-drip selves and stop them from burning quicker than they should.

Never leave your candles unattended or in reach of children or pets. Extinguish with a snuffer.

 When you remove the candles from their box use a soft cloth to remove any dust and transfer directly to holders. These candles are delicate, so be careful not to drop or shake them. If the coloured sections become loose, the candles will still burn beautifully and safely.
