Jellyfish set of 4 centrepieces
Jellyfish set of 4 centrepieces
NasonMoretti
Jellyfish is a set of four centrepieces designed for NasonMoretti by the Venetian designer Matteo Zorzenoni - four colours, four different profiles, made to be used apart and stacked together. Empty, they sit on the table as a single object: a footed base in Bull, a Violet vessel set into it, a wider one in Soraya green above that, and an Avio blue dome that closes the form. The name comes from the silhouette this makes when assembled - soft-shouldered, tiered, balanced.
Used singly, each vessel stands on its own. Used together, they read as a sculpture before they read as a service. That ambiguity - between object and ornament - is the point.
A set of four, designed by Matteo Zorzenoni for NasonMoretti.

About NasonMoretti
NasonMoretti has been blowing glass on Murano since 1923. While the great furnaces of the island made their names with chandeliers, NasonMoretti chose the table - the wine glass, the water tumbler, the dessert bowl, made for daily use rather than display. Each piece is hand-blown from molten cristallo at the end of an iron pipe, shaped by breath and eye, then coloured with mineral oxides folded into the glass at the moment it can take them. The deep blue, the ruby, the sea-green: each batch arrives a little differently. No two glasses are alike, and the small irregularities are part of the evidence.
Our NasonMoretti pieces are exclusive to Australia.
