Candle Tamtam Sarah Blue
Candle Tamtam Sarah Blue
Côté Bougie
Narguilé - osmanthus and green mandarin at the top, cocoa bean and leather at the heart, cedarwood, sandalwood and patchouli beneath. A chypre woody trail built around the slow smoke of a Moroccan water-pipe; warm, deep, and lingering.
The Tamtam is a collaboration between Côté Bougie and Sarah Lavoine - the Parisian interior designer whose saturated colour vocabulary, anchored by a particular blue, has reshaped a generation of French homes. The shape is a totem: stacked, sculptural, drawn from the primitive decorative arts. Each one is hand-thrown by Côté Bougie's artisan potters in the Marrakech region and glazed by hand in a range of colours from the Lavoine palette. No two are quite the same.
Soy wax, Italian cotton wicks, two fragrances composed in Grasse.
The candle finishes; the totem stays.

About Côté Bougie
In 2003, Saida Kadiri left a career decorating children's bedrooms in Casablanca and started making candles — first for her own house, with whatever pots and pans she had. Two years later her son Omar joined her, and Côté Bougie has been a family business in Marrakech ever since. The candles are hand-poured: soy wax, Italian cotton wicks, recycled glass. The fragrances are composed in Grasse and chosen to read as Morocco — citrus, spice, cedar. The vessels, including the olive-green ceramics of Tamegroute, are made by Moroccan artisans.
Exclusive to Australia.
