Antica Barbieria Colla
Antica Barbieria Colla has been Milan's barbershop since 1904, still run today by the Bompieri family.
The scent that meets you first is zabaglione - egg yolk, sugar, rum - the northern Italian dessert that has appeared at the end of family meals in Lombardy and Piedmont for centuries. The association is not accidental. Egg and rum have been combined in Italian hair care since long before Antica Barbieria Colla formulated them into a shampoo: a traditional home remedy, applied in masks, for hair that had lost its strength.
The house took that tradition and made it daily. Egg yolk provides the proteins, lecithin, vitamins, and phosphorus; rum, distilled from sugarcane, brings stability and the fragrance that regular clients at Via Gerolamo Morone have been asking for since the barbieria first stocked it.
For hair that is fragile, dull, or worn thin by city life.

Use
Spread a small quantity of the product on wet scalp and hair, massage gently and rinse well.
About the barbershop
Antica Barbieria Colla has been on Via Gerolamo Morone in Milan since 1944 - and in the city, without interruption, since 1904. Dino Colla opened the original barbieria near the Duomo that year, modelled on the private gentlemen's clubs of London. The house survived two addresses and a wartime bombing; Francesca Bompieri, whose father Franco ran it from 1975, runs it today. The product line - hair, skin, beard, shaving, and four signature colognes - traces its formulations to Colla himself, each recipe passed down and quietly refined through the generations of ownership that followed. Everything is hand-made in Italy by specialists who work in direct contact with the house.
